2020 Little Darling Pinot Noir

Winemaker's notes

The grapes are sourced from a range of organic vineyards in the Wairau Valley in Marlborough. The crop levels are kept low which produces small berries and contributes to a concentrated wine. Picked once the typical flavors of Marlborough were shining through. Grapes were crushed to different fermenters allowing a range of components for blending. Plunged daily allowing the soft tannins to emerge in the wine. By selecting the best combination of these parcels, we were able to produce a wine that has flavor and texture. All components were aged in oak until blending which added greater flavor and softness to the wine. The grapes and wine are certified organic by BioGro New Zealand.
