2021 Nuku Linden Estate Sauvignon Blanc

This wine begins to release its aromas after a couple of minutes in glass with scents of gooseberry, peach and fresh herbs. There's a savory dried herb seam then scents of apple and lemongrass, grapefruit and baking spices. Fruits and herb flavors are mirrored on the palate with a salivating acid line accentuating some juicy fleshy textures and some barrel spice moments, a touch of lees complexity all leading to a balanced, even finish. Overall a fresh, lively example with a Hawkes Bay signature of fruit then herb, some soft spice and mineral finish, Cameron Douglas MS.
