Ripe, fruity and very enticing bouquet with scents of savory ripe cherry with raspberry notes, some dried herb and sandy, dry clay aromas. Quite lush and fruity with a coarse silk texture, savory dried herb and mineral. Fresh and tart cherry flavors, raspberry and moments of rose and baking spices of oak. Firm tannins with plenty of acidity. Youthful, fresh and developing still with best drinking from late 2021 through 2026+, Cameron Douglas MS.

Winemaker's notes

Ripe hand picked fruit, gentle winemaking and maturation in French oak have resulted in a complex and powerful wine, with aromas of dark cherry and chocolate, with a rich and silky smooth palate and a long spicy finish. Grapes cold soaked, hand plunged 3 times a day at peak of fermentation. 7% whole bunch fermentation. 100% French Oak for 10 months. Vegetarian friendly. Clones 667, 777, 115 and 5.
