15th Valley 2019 Sauvignon Blanc is a premium single vineyard wine produced by 15th Valley Farm, Family Estate.
Located on the eastern end of the famous Wither Hills in New Zealand’s Marlborough Wairau Valley, 15th Valley is a unique wine growing microclimate.
As the vineyard rows flow up the hilly slopes, the Southern Hemisphere sun is intensified creating a wine with rich expression of tropical fruits and balanced by natural acidity. The underlying clay soils come through into the wine with excellent minerality with hints of wet stone and satin texture to leave the most discerning Sauvignon Blanc drinker satisfied and reaching for the next glass.
The flavor profile emphasizes soft green herbs, tropical fruits and citrus with high toned acidity and a lengthy finish. A great choice to match with fish and seafood. Delicate flavors of these dishes will complement the bright varietal characters of this wine.

Vintage 2019 in Marlborough resulted in smaller than expected yield across the region but it has produced fruit of exceptional quality and flavour concentration. Winter was warm and spring had great conditions for bud burst and canopy establishment. First half of the summer brought above average rainfall combined with below average sunshine hours so flowering and fruit set was slightly below earlier predictions. However, the second half of summer brought a dry and hot ripening season that allowed the fruit to ripen and reach those desired intense levels of fruit concentration. The grapes were machine harvested and field destemmed before being gently pressed to stainless steel holding tanks for fermentation at cool temperatures with selected yeast strains with aim to preserve the aromatic and fruit flavours from the vineyard.
